Project Rescue & Resolution is how HMCM steps in as construction manager when a job has stalled, a trade sequence has collapsed, or one unresolved issue is holding an entire site. It is not a restart. We enter at the phase you are in, establish what is genuinely complete versus what has been reported complete, and take enough field control to get the work moving again.
The first days are diagnostic and deliberately fast. We read the contract, the permit file, and the current drawing set; we walk the site; we talk to the trades who are still there and find out what they are actually waiting on. Stalls usually trace to a small number of hard constraints — an unanswered permit comment, a missing submittal approval, a scope gap between two subcontractors, or a budget that stopped matching the drawings months ago. Naming them precisely is most of the recovery.
Then we realign. That can mean re-sequencing the remaining work, re-bidding a scope that has to be replaced, restoring the inspection path, resetting expectations on the schedule with the owner, and putting a single accountable contact between the field and the decisions. We apply the same discipline used on a job we started ourselves: budget with purpose, execute with discipline, and move the project toward a clean handover.
This is the construction-management version of stall assistance. The consulting version is distress and stalled project support, which is advisory: diagnosis and a sequence the owner acts on. Here, you hire us to intervene in the field. When the underlying problem is the asset rather than the schedule, start with a failing asset evaluation.
